Ornitholidays, in collaboration with our agents Skua Nature, have put together this two-centre, week-long tour, which will allow some amazing observations and photographs of some of the iconic species of this region of Spain. High on that list are the vultures and we should get outstanding close up views of Eurasian Griffon, Eurasian Black and Egyptian as they come to feed at baited sites. Flight and ground photos of Red and Black Kites will also be possible. Crested Tit, Woodchat Shrike, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Common Nightingale, Azure-winged Magpie, Common Rock Sparrow and Hawfinch are also subjects that we are likely to capture. We stay at two estates, where there is good accommodation with superb food, and both are set amidst classic landscapes. Both estates have a number of purpose built hides where we can sit in comfort and take some amazing photographs. All the photographs used here were taken on our 2016 tour.
Our small party of six photographers will be the only group present in both areas so we will have our pick of which hides we want to use each day. Once we are at the estates the distances we shall travel each day will be minimal.
Throughout the tour you will have Richard with you to advise on which hides may be best for whichever species you choose to photograph.
